The reasons why so many people have personal stories about renovation disasters are varied, but there is often a common thread. Many times, it’s because a confident homeowner without alot of remodeling experience is simply not aware of how many things can go wrong if a project is not properly planned and executed. A beautiful and functional renovation is achieved in part when sensible designs are combined with the right products. That happens when the needs of the occupants, the use of the space, and existing conditions are all considered.

Even when a homeowner is fortunate enough to find a qualified carpenter, plumber, electrician, tile and countertop installer, etc., they still have to successfully navigate the myriad of products available, such as cabinetry, appliances, tile and plumbing fixtures - learning about features, finishes, sizes and function - to not only find what they like, but also what will fit the space and décor. Then they have to order and get those products delivered (if they don’t have contractor who’ll do the procuring for them) and on delivery, make sure the products aren’t defective. The effective coordination and integration of these aspects are achieved with experience. So naturally, a homeowner’s first experience with renovation - especially when tackling a project without adequate assistance - often becomes an expensive, protracted, and unfulfilling lesson.

After our designer meets with you to create an ideal design, suited to your needs and taste, we'll then help you to select the best products for your home. We will then schedule and supervise our trade specialists to insure the design is properly implemented, and to coordinate the various components of the project, including material deliveries, to ensure the project moves along effectively and efficiently. All the while, the project manager is supported by our office staff, which handles things like materials orders and delivery date confirmations, sample orders, building management approval, and more. Throughout the renovation, clients are kept up to date on what’s been done and what’ll be done next.
